This semi automatic doy pouch opener was part of a R & D project and has hardly ever been used.Closed, empty pouches are held and presented by a pneumatic feed system. They are then positioned for opening. Vacuum suction cups open the pouch and then a tamping device opens the bottom of the pouch for filling and/or standing.
